LsejaBecome a Lseja tester
Version 0.9.1 is Lseja's current test version (the first was 0.9.0). We're looking for a small group to help polish her before the Steam launch — especially people who speak Japanese or Chinese, and testers on both weaker and powerful PCs.
What this beta is
An early, working build of Lseja for Windows. Not everything is finished and things may break — that's exactly why we need testers. In return you get real influence over what Lseja becomes.
Who we're looking for
Right now we especially need:
- 🇯🇵 Japanese speakers — to tell us whether Lseja sounds natural: her replies, the voice (TTS) and the subtitles.
- 🇨🇳 Simplified Chinese speakers — the same: natural replies, voice and subtitles.
- 💻 Weaker PCs — to check performance and how much RAM / CPU / GPU she uses.
- 🚀 Powerful PCs — to see how she runs with room to spare.
- 🇵🇱 🇬🇧 Polish & English — welcome too, especially if you enjoy early software and honest feedback.
Free full version after launch
Everyone who actively helps test Lseja before release gets a free Steam key for the full version once she launches — a small thank-you for your help.

Will it run on your PC?
Once installed, Lseja takes about 18 GB — she bundles local AI models (brain, sight, voice and hearing), so she thinks on your own machine, fully offline, on any hardware. She runs best on a graphics card with 6 GB of memory (the large brain). Without a strong card she picks the small brain on the processor by herself (slower, simpler replies); you can also connect an online brain with your own key.
Actual performance depends on the brain and your hardware — Lseja picks the small or large brain by herself, and you can change it in the panel (AI → Brain).

Minimum
- System — Windows 10 / 11 (64-bit)
- RAM — 16 GB with the local brain (Lseja alone uses about 6 GB); 8 GB only with a cloud brain
- Graphics — no strong card needed: without one, Lseja uses the small brain on the processor. Integrated graphics (Intel/AMD) are fine too — vision is slower on them (up to a few dozen seconds)
- Disk — 20 GB free space (the install is about 18 GB)
- Local brain — the small brain on the processor: fully offline, but slower and simpler. Faster: an online brain with your own key
Recommended
- System — Windows 11 (64-bit)
- RAM — 16 GB
- Graphics — a card with 6 GB+ of VRAM, Vulkan driver (NVIDIA / AMD / Intel)
- Disk — 25 GB+ free space (SSD)
- Local brain — the large brain fully on the graphics card: replies in about 2 s, more accurate, fully offline
- Vision (optional) — without swapping with the brain: the 2B model from about 10–12 GB of VRAM, the more accurate 7B from about 16 GB. On a smaller card (6–8 GB included) vision and the brain take turns on the card, so answers about what's on screen take about half a minute.
What you get in version 0.9.1
All of Lseja for Windows: conversation, voice, hearing and vision on local AI, in four languages (Polish, English, Japanese, Chinese), with no accounts and no keys. Plus reminders, pranks, memory and the bond. An API key for cloud models is optional.
How to report a bug
In the app, open Settings → Diagnostics → Report and click “Send by email” — Lseja prepares a ZIP package (report, logs, crash dumps; no conversation text or window titles) and opens your mail program. If no mail program opens, send the package to contact@lseja.com. After a sudden shutdown, Lseja asks at the next launch whether to send a report.
How you'll get the build
We send the download link by email after you sign up — this keeps the beta small and lets us know who to help when something breaks.
A note about SmartScreen
Lseja isn't digitally signed yet, so Windows may show a blue “Windows protected your PC” screen. That's normal for early, unsigned software — click “More info” → “Run anyway”. Code signing will come later.
